Located in the state's northeastern corner,
Sterling's population of approximately 13,900 is the largest of any Colorado community east of Pueblo. Located near North Sterling State Park, Sterling is served by I-76, U.S. Highways 6 and 138, and State Highways 14 and 61.
North Sterling State Park is home to 3 modern boat ramps, 3 camping areas with over 150 campsites and loads of picnicking sites. This park is famous for excellent fishing, boating, swimming and waterskiing opportunities.
